It’s Halloween all month long at the Staten Island Museum where guests of all ages can compete in our Black Cat Scavenger Hunt. This is a drop-in, ongoing activity taking place throughout the museum. Winners receive prizes and bragging rights!

Free / donations welcome. Registration recommended. This event has limited capacity. In participation with New York State's PATH Through History Weekend, The Visitor Experience department of the Museum will be offering a free guided tour of Taking Care: The Black Angels of Sea View Hospital.  

Family History Workshop and Presentation

In celebration of Family History Month, join Debbie-Ann Paige and Robin Semple, Co-Presidents of the Staten Island Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, to learn how to start a journey into your family history. This workshop will introduce methods and resources for family history research.
