The Staten Island Museum provides a wide range of STEAM-based lessons for school groups from pre-k through high school and beyond.
Art, science, and history programs at the Museum and in the classroom offer students and teachers an interdisciplinary and hands-on learning experience. Museum programs support NYS Next Generation Learning Standards, NYC Science Scope and Sequence, and Blueprints for Teaching and Learning in the Arts.
Educator Open House
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm we will be hosting a free educator open house event. All educators are invited and are welcome to bring their children to participate in this event. Hands-on, family friendly activities and snacks will be provided during the Open House.
