The Staten Island Museum is a cool and air-conditioned space to escape the heat and enjoy some great exhibits during the hot New York City summer. The Museum is open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am-5pm. Drinking fountains are also available to museum guests.

‘Tis the season for National Moth Week! Stay up late and celebrate the wonders of science after dark. Revel in the beauty and learn about the life cycles and habitats of moths. Activities include lantern parade, face painting, moth costumes, moth specimens, special guests from the Staten Island Insectarium, night walk, and attractor station. BYO Flashlight!
