Memorial Making with Lina Montoya

Join artist Lina Montoya for an afternoon of public art making. Remember and memorialize those lost during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the project, Naming the Lost Memorials.

Guests will create tributes that will accompany others in a large-scale community memorial that will open to the public at Green-Wood Historical Cemetery in Brooklyn for the month of May.

Naming the Lost Memorials (NTLM) is a small team of artists, activists, and folklorists that has been curating memorial sites in New York City to name and remember victims of the COVID-19 pandemic since May 2020.
