By Pamela Silvestri | [email protected]
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Staten Island Museum will host its Edible Island Market on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring 13 regional food vendors and plenty of holiday cheer.
The market celebrates Staten Island’s culinary creativity with artisan breads, soul food, handcrafted chocolates, and authentic Mexican cuisine—perfect for unique holiday gifts. Entry is free; museum gallery admission is by suggested donation.
“We had such a great time last year sharing these talented culinary creators with our neighbors,” said Rylee Eterginoso, director of curatorial affairs and programs. “We’re excited to showcase regional delicacies that highlight the area’s rich farming history and entrepreneurial spirit.”
Expect favorites like Always Eat Good Food (croissants, Japanese milk buns), Meg Scanlon’s Ardough with true artisan sourdough loaves, Hazel’s 423 (jerk chicken tacos, sweet potato pie), and Beezy Beez Honey (local raw honey). Other highlights include Farmer Dave’s jams, cranberry scones and soups, Kali Cooks NYC’s loaded hot chocolates, and treats from Batangas Best LLC, Lebanese Eatery, Belli Baci Bakery, La Tortuga Kitchen, On Your Mark Chocolatiers, and Maddie’s Sweet Treats.
The event takes place at Staten Island Museum, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Building A.
