Bird and Nature Walk: Clay Pit Pond

Join naturalists Ed Johnson and Ray Matarazzo with Director of Natural Science Colleen Evans on a guided walk through the borough of parks.

Clay Pit is home to a number of nesting birds, including eastern towhee and wood thrush. We may also find some interesting amphibians/reptiles, such as the northern fence lizard, Fowler’s toad and eastern box turtle. Note: Tick precautions (repellent, etc.) are advised.
