Explore the creative potential of this photographic medium in this beginner workshop. A polaroid transfer\, or emulsion lifting\, is when an image is peeled from the plastic window of a polaroid and then transferred onto another surface like watercolor paper resulting in a unique\, ethereal work of art. \nAbout the Artist: Jean Marques is an interdisciplinary visual artist and photographer based in Staten Island. In 2019 they earned their MFA degree in Photography and Related Media from Rochester Institute of Technology. Jean has been exhibiting their work since 2016\, and is currently featured in the Alice Austen House Triennial #4: Resilient Communities.
