Program and Archives Intern
This internship is planned to take place both virtually and in-person.
The Program and Archives Intern will assist with the implementation of several exciting projects this summer. From planning and production of in person, hybrid, and virtual programming to participation in research and collaborative collections initiatives, the intern will receive a comprehensive introduction into the daily operations of a 21st Century Museum.
The intern will learn about the theory and practice of working in an historical archives setting. With guidance from the museum’s Archives Manager, the intern will inventory, scan and describe collections of records that will be shared online with the public; and, also answer research inquiries from the public.
The intern will assist the Program Department with the development and production of the Museum’s seasonal programming, featuring events for adults and family audiences as well as the opening of a new exhibition.
