DESCRIPTION:We will be searching the wide open trails of this park for flocks of returning blackbirds\, in addition to raptors and other early spring migrants\, including eastern phoebe and pine warbler. \nJoin guides Ed Johnson\, Ray Matarazzo\, and Director of Natural Science Colleen Evans for this 1-2 mile hike through one of Staten Island’s green spaces. \nMeet at the trail head near Quintard St. and Olympia Blvd.

DESCRIPTION:Free with Museum Admission \nJoin artist Lina Montoya for an afternoon of public art making. Remember and memorialize those lost during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the project\, Naming the Lost Memorials. \nGuests will create tributes that will accompany others in a large-scale community memorial that will open to the public at Green-Wood Historical Cemetery in Brooklyn for the month of May. \nNaming the Lost Memorials (NTLM) is a small team of artists\, activists\, and folklorists that has been curating memorial sites in New York City to name and remember victims of the COVID-19 pandemic since May 2020.
