DESCRIPTION:This year’s Lunar New Year celebration has been rescheduled to Saturday\, February 12. \n$15 adults/$10 children (includes museum admission) \nCelebrate at home by downloading the interactive guide below!\nLunar New Year Guide \nLunar New Year Guide\nRing in the Year of the Tiger with the Staten Island Museum and Korean Community Development Center! \nUnleash your creative side by making festive ornaments with custom maedeup (매듭) accessories\, have your name written in calligraphy\, and put your game face on to compete with your friends and family in jegichagi. Make sure to pick up a goodie bag to take home with traditional Korean treats including dalgona (달고나) or ppopgi (뽑기). \n새해 복 많이 받으세요\nsaehae bog manh-i bad-euseyo \nHappy New Year! \nThis program is produced in partnership with the Korean Community Development Center. \nUpdated Visitor Information: All visitors ages 5 and older must show proof they have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for admission to the museum\, in accordance with NYC requirements. Visitors over 18 will also be asked to show photo ID. Face coverings are required for all over the age of 2\, even if vaccinated.
