Join us in celebrating this new exhibit! Young people from the Staten Island Urban Center worked with artist Caryn T. Davis and public historian Debbie-Anne Paige to create unique works of art based on the history of Black communities on Staten Island. Students altered and reinterpreted preexisting books, recycling them into an artistic form with their own photographs, collages, paintings, and drawings.
