SUMMARY:Summer Nights: Shore to Shore Scavenger Hunt III
DESCRIPTION:We’re back for another edition of this scavenger hunt on four wheels! Clues lead teams throughout Staten Island to sites of recent and bygone historical and cultural significance. Players post responses to clues from a teammate’s social media account while judges follow along. Participating teams will need a car and a teammate with Instagram or Facebook. The first team back at the Museum with all clues solved and posted to social media will win the coveted Golden Magnifying Glass! \n$35/$30 members per player. \n$75 per cars with 3 or more players \n*Each participating car must be equipped with enough seatbelts for all players. All laws must be strictly obeyed or teams face immediate disqualification. Open to all ages.

Explore the creative potential of this photographic medium in this beginner workshop. A polaroid transfer\, or emulsion lifting\, is when an image is peeled from the plastic window of a polaroid and then transferred onto another surface like watercolor paper resulting in a unique\, ethereal work of art. \nAbout the Artist: Jean Marques is an interdisciplinary visual artist and photographer based in Staten Island. In 2019 they earned their MFA degree in Photography and Related Media from Rochester Institute of Technology. Jean has been exhibiting their work since 2016\, and is currently featured in the Alice Austen House Triennial #4: Resilient Communities.
