Drop-in workshops at the museum will take place indoors and outdoors. \nAbout FIGMENT NYC: During the first weekend in June\, FIGMENT will produce a free interactive-art festival on the grounds of Snug Harbor. All FIGMENT art projects require input or participation from our visitors. Everyone involved in making FIGMENT happen is a volunteer\, the artists\, the production crew\, the coordinators\, everyone. FIGMENT is a gift.

DESCRIPTION:Free with Museum admission \nThroughout the fall of 2023\, students at the Korean School of Staten Island met weekly learn Korean and practice their handwriting by writing traditional phrases\, quotes\, and more in Seoye (서예)\, a tradition of artistic writing in Hangul (한글 )\, the Korean alphabet. Join us for a pop-up display of student work and try your hand at this traditional art form. Light refreshments provided.
