Old Seguine homestead, Princes Bay, S.I., N.Y.

WTD 3015

A postcard containing a photograph of the Manee-Seguine Homestead, also known as the Abraham Manee House, that is located on Purdy Place, adjacent to Lemon Creek, in Princes Bay, Staten Island.  The oldest section of the house was built by Paulus Regrinet, a French Huguenot who fled religious prosecution in Europe, around 1670.  A well written description and history of the structure may be found here.
