The Archives Library of Images

From ferries to architecture, to portraits and beachfront promenades, the History Archives has over 60,000 images available for reproduction.

Images relate to the history of Staten Island and beyond. Nature, ferry boats, landscapes, the waterfront, flora and fauna, historic homes, portraits of famous Island residents, landmarks, and historic events are a sampling of the topics covered in the Photograph Collection.

A unique service offered by the Staten Island Museum allows the public and commercial interests to purchase reproductions of these visual images. Photographs can be made for commercial, non-profit and for personal use. The reproductions can be used for research projects, home or office display, gifts and/or publication purposes.
