View of Tottenville Bluff Looking Towards South Amboy


An oil on canvas painting by Peter Eggers of two sailboats approaching Tottenville Bluff, which is off the southern tip of Staten Island.  Ther shore and trees are to the left, and the sun is setting in the center of the canvas reflecting on calm waters. South Amboy, New Jersey can be seen in the far left background.  The painting has purple hues.  Eggers was born in Sweden and studied in Italy.
