A wood engraving depicting the view of Manhattan from a tugboat docked in New York Harbor rendered in the quintessential Art Deco/Works Public Administration style.  Edition number 18 of 50.

Henry Glintenkamp (1887-1946) was born in Augusta, New Jersey.  He attended the National Academy of Design before studying under Robert Henri.  Glintenkamp is known mostly for his anti-war illustrations along with his landscape and urban scene paintings.  He was a part of many American artistic movements, traveled extensively throughout Europe, was an art instructor, and was a socialist.
