Four miniature paintings of Upstate New York as seen through the front window of an automobile. Paintings are respectively titled "Summer", "Autumn", "Twilight", and "Night" . The paintings were commisioned for the Sailor's Snug Harbor Cultural Center's 1992 Neptune Ball invitation. Semi-attached to reverse is a descriptive text label (on semi-glossy card stock), written by Michael J. Fressola, on Neptune Ball of May 17, 1992. The text briefly describes Mailman's career.
Mailman was educated at the High School of Art and Design and Pratt Institute, where she received her BS in Art Education in 1964. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has held three one woman shows. Her work is in the permnent collection of the Everson Museum in Syracuse, N.Y., the Prudential Insurance Company of America and Tatistcheff and Company. In 1977 she won a wall painting commission from City Walls, Inc.
