Passerelle du Pont-au-Change, après l’incendie de 1621


A black ink etching (vii state) by French artist Charles Meryon (1821 - 1868) depicting the temporary footbridge that replaced the Pont-au-Change in Paris after the Fire of 1621.  This etching is Meryon's copy of the Florentine artist Stefano della Bella's (1610 - 1664) version.
