Abstract watercolor in dark blue, teal and red. Depicts what appears to be a red water bird with plucked wings upraised.  Second figure of an abstract face with a double profile nose and an unsmiling mouth.

Chet La More was an abstract painter born in Wisconsin.  La More studied at the University of Wisconsin and was a mural painter for the Works Progress Administration during the Great Depression.   He was also an art educator who taught at Albright Art School in Buffalo, New York and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
