Art Party: Statement Jewelry with a Twist

Get into the spirit of Earth Day using everyday items to create beautiful jewelry! This workshop will guide guests through the process of upcycling unusual materials to make wearable art. All materials provided, however participants are encouraged to bring in additional materials they might like to work with. Registration required.

Teaching Artist:
Jocelyn Mackenzie is a Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, songwriting coach, artist, stylist, art director, craftsperson, and all around maker of things. A graduate from the Fiber program at the Maryland Institute, College of Art, art and music have seamlessly integrated into her career for decades. Her bold and fearless work, both artistically and musically, combines elements of play, imagination, nostalgia, resourcefulness and craftsmanship. She is dedicated to a lifetime of learning to make something out of nothing.
