Programming and Marketing Intern
The Intern will assist the Program and Marketing Departments in the creation, planning, and promotion for the fourth year of the Staten Island Museum's "Summer Nights" program. The Arts Intern program provides paid internship opportunities during the summer for college undergraduates to learn about nonprofit arts professions in museums and cultural institutions. The intern will gain hands-on experience in scheduling and planning programs and events, including artist communication, arranging hospitality; and providing support and on-site assistance to artists and guests at the Staten Island Museum. At the end of the internship, the Intern will leave with practical knowledge about producing full length events and performances from event concept to event breakdown.
This is a paid, nine week internship, with a 28 hour weekly work requirements.
